While doing other projects, I continue to study modern British imperial and international thought as an extension of my PhD research, analysing the work of such intellectuals as J.A. Hobson, L.T. Hobhouse, Lionel Curtis, Jan Smuts and Reginald Coupland.

With my colleagues, I am also translating the writings of Duncan Bell (my former supervisor) into Japanese, which will be published as his anthology by Jinbun Shoin (Kyoto-based publisher) in 2024/25.
